Celebrating our 30th year!!!

Setting the stage for a lifetime of learning

Class Picnics

demoThis week we were very fortunate to be able to enjoy both of our scheduled picnics as the weather forecast had given us some concern.

On Monday our pre-k classes visited Red Bank Battlefield in National Park. The new equipment was a lot of fun and after climbing, jumping and sliding their way around the "pirate ship", the children created bottles of buried treasures.

On Tuesday our younger classes visited Atkinson Park. The playground was also a lot of fun and we all tried to cool off while the children made "bug in the grass" headbands.

Mini Walk for Cystic Fibrosis

demoOn May 30th and May 31st, our preschool will be participating in a Mini Walk for Cystic Fibrosis. This event is especially important to us because one of our students has inherited this chronic disease and both he AND sister are dealing with the lung and digestive problems that make this disease so dangerous. We are asking that donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to fund the research being done to increase the life expectancy and to find a cure for this disease.

If you would like to make a donation, please make your checks payable to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and bring them to the preschool.

All God's Children

Our School

We have created an atmosphere of Christian love into which the children enter each day. They are introduced to the Bible and to the love of God and His Son, Jesus. The children are encouraged to use Christian values as a guide to appropriate behavior, including how to be respectful of others and to love each other as God loves us.

We incorporate a wide variety of activities, lessons, crafts, and physical education to help the children develop confidence, self-esteem, and attitudes of cooperation and respect. Some of these include:
* Reading readiness and math skills
* Learning numbers, letters, shapes and colors
* Field trips and science projects and activities
* Painting, cutting and coloring for developing small motor skills
* Gym time and climbing on our tree house for developing large muscle groups
* Emphasis on following directions, taking turns, sharing, patience and self-control

Through this preschool experience, we strive to provide the children with a foundation of basic academics, the joy of learning new things, and the knowledge of the love of Jesus.
